ShowIt Jim's Effects

Installation

Here is the installation file.

Showit Jim's Effects 501.zip File

It requires Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Installation

Download the above .zip file, open it up and move the effects folder (under the showit folder) it into your adobe photoshop scripts folder. On my system, the full path to the effects folder is:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Scripts\showit\effects

Once you move the folder, you should see the 501 folder in the effects folder, and then in the 501 folder, you should see the following files:

button.png
effect.js
CP1.acv
CP2.acv
Sloppy.jsh
effect1.png
effect2.png
effect3.png
JimsEffects.jsh
SCurve.acv

Running the Script

Start the showit action. Switch to page 2 and you should see the Jim's Effects button on your showit menu.

Once you click the Jim's Effects button, this menu should appear:

There are two types effects, (1) is the cross processing type of effects, and (2) is a quick resize of the photo to something more suitable for a web page blog.

Just click the image (button) of the effect (or resize) that you wish to perform. If you want to cancel, just press the red X and no action will be performed.

The effects are done on a new layer and the opacity is set to 75%. If you want to increase or decrease the magnitude of the effect, just change the opacity of the layer once you are out of the showit script.
