We have been so busy this fall that we haven’t had time to update our blog since August! Melissa has been choosing our fall 2007 favorites for the past couple weeks and finally had the time to get them on our blog today. So, today’s entry is a long one with lots of variety……weddings, engagements, seniors, beauty pageant, fashion show, high school homecoming, Halloween. Enjoy !!

Each year Melissa’s Jazzercise class has a costume party. The costumes are always lots of fun. Melissa is standing on the right wearing the red cape. Below are a few of her favorites: Eve, Theresa & Karen. Also, check out the slide show below.

Our son, Michael, works at Bruster’s Ice Cream. He dressed up as “Jack Sparrow” to go to work. Melissa did his eye makeup.

We had the honor of photographing Miss Teen Ewing-Fleming County , Emily Heflin, in the Miss Kentucky Teen pageant. She placed in the top 15 out of 85 girls! Awesome job, Emily ! We are proud of you !

Wow ! Austin is very photogenic! GQ!

Austin shaved his beard about half way thru the shoot. Austin’s mom is holding the mirror while Melissa takes a close up shot.

Jim traveled to St. Louis to shoot a wedding with his friend, Dan Watkins, on Sept. 29. Some favorite photos from the day….

Our favorite from Rebecca & Mike’s engagement session on Oct. 5 in Covington….

Oct. 10 -Anna & Dustin -bridal session. We shot their wedding on July 28 in Morehead. We did some additional portraits for them in October . Thank you for getting dressed up again for some stunning wedding portraits……

Here are some pictures from Erica & Tim’s wedding in Fairfield, OH. They are such a great couple and it was a pleasure to be part of their wedding day.

It has been too long since my last blog entry! What makes matters worse is I have a couple of recent weddings I should be blogging about and a killer engagement shoot, but I will put that off till another day. Instead, I will pause to reflect on today and our celebration of independence. I didn’t take any photographs of fireworks this year. But my niece, Katie, took awesome fireworks photos.
This morning, I photographed the local 4th of July parade for the Scott County Council of the Arts. Melissa and her Jazzercise class participated in the parade. Here are a couple of slideshows:

We recently purchased a couple of new cameras, a Canon Mark III and a Canon 5D, and I put them through the paces at today’s parade. These camera’s rock and we are looking forward to using them on Laurie and Kevin’s wedding this weekend.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
