Why do I even have a blog? I never seem to write to it! Why have one? So I can share amazing wedding images with you. Here are a few of my favorites from Kelsey and Rich’s AWESOME wedding.
It has been too long since my last blog entry! What makes matters worse is I have a couple of recent weddings I should be blogging about and a killer engagement shoot, but I will put that off till another day. Instead, I will pause to reflect on today and our celebration of independence. I didn’t take any photographs of fireworks this year. But my niece, Katie, took awesome fireworks photos.
This morning, I photographed the local 4th of July parade for the Scott County Council of the Arts. Melissa and her Jazzercise class participated in the parade. Here are a couple of slideshows:

We recently purchased a couple of new cameras, a Canon Mark III and a Canon 5D, and I put them through the paces at today’s parade. These camera’s rock and we are looking forward to using them on Laurie and Kevin’s wedding this weekend.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
What a gorgeous day for a wedding. While it was a little warm, it wasn’t humid. The wedding was an awesome outside wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
Michelle and Corey are an awesome couple. There wedding was understated and beautiful. The reception got a little wild and was crazy fun. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.

Recently, a local photography group, The Scott County Shooters, arranged a photoshoot. Our model was Seba. She was awesome in front of the camera. I could have taken pictures all day with her. Here is one of my favorites. You can see more on the Seba Slideshow.

Melissa and I had the awesome pleasure of doing a portrait session with Avery. It was so much fun that we didn’t want to stop! Here are a few of our favorites from the day.

Well, I decided it was time to startup my blog again. My old blog was like the show Seinfeld — you know — pretty much about nothing. I realized that I wanted to take my blog in a new direction and this is it. It is intended to complement my main web site in that it will provide some of my more recent work.
I suspect my posting frequency will be somewhat low (I am hoping weekly at least) since I am either slammed with work and don’t have time, or like in the slower winter months, I have plenty of time, but nothing recent. Maybe in the winter I will go back and post images from the year that I didn’t have time to get to.
